I was told that I had to wait until next Thursday for my G6E Turbo however I got a call today to tell me that it is ready to pick up... tomorrow I will pick up my baby, spend a little time running it in, then see how she goes against these HSV's.

I didnt get time to pick up my bowlers hat, slippers and pipe.... does anybody have spares?

Great News harryh, best of luck tonight when you try to sleep. I saw a G6 that had a blue/green tinge to it. The colour changed as I approached it and again driving past, very impressive. Is the 'Edge' colour? havent seen it before. I liked it! For your sake I hope it is, its awesome.

Spend some time looking over the car on pick up, check for scratches, check the wheels for any scrapes, pop the hood and check everything looks ok, check bumpers.

But most important of all, please post some photos!

Enjoy!!!

ok, it's 1:15am and I can't sleep... it feels like the night before Xmas.

The colour is hard to describe... it does change colours, though it tends to look dark grey/blue though it can appear to have a hint of green. I will post pics tomorrow and you can tell me what you think. I will put it in a new thread. I am interested in honest appraisals, I wont cry if some people don't like it as the colour took time to grow on me.

I have to be up at six to help my brother so I really need to sleep!

I am finding it REALLY hard not to drive the thing hard, still only done 1800 km on the clock. Trying to take it easy but struggling. Some would say its ok now to go as hard as you like but ideally I would like to get a few more '000 km on the clock before I do some WOT

sounds good to me

mine made 245rwkw stock but that was in 3rd and I think the tuners dyno is happy, although its not claimed to be.... but I think it was a bit happy and 235rwkw would have been more like it

that's a great result Tony. From what I have read on this site, the car seems to get better with the more Km's you do so you can expect this to continue to improve. :buttrock:

Have you put in the CAI yet?

I had my first `run` with a BFII Xr8, a very nice car, rims, exaust, fpv badges, it was mint, ...lights turn green (on a private road of course)from idle my baby dug deep, lost a little rubber along the way but led from the beginning, I couldn`t see his car next to me at all, it just smashed him off the line and stayed in front, and he was pissed-off :)

no worries M8, here ya go...tell em you have a G6ET for a 10% discount.
