hi all, ive recently bought an xr6t and it has had a few minor mods done and im looking to do a few more to reach the low to mid 300's and at the moment its running 42lb bosch injectors and I was wondering if would have to upgrade to 60lb ones to accommodate for this or would the 42lb ones handle that?

Cheers,

my theory is just go the 60s. If you ever want that little bit more power, the 60s will last till 400+. 42s will prob be at max capacity around 300ish with no room for improvement.

Also ill be selling my deka 60l's (bout 10,000km old) for 300$ in a week. so let me know if you would want them. Goes for everyone else too. Ill put an add up later.

Yeah mate the deka 60's are very good but also ask your tuner what squirters he likes to tune with, some have fav's!

*Beep* you might want to price drop your dekas as you can buy them brand new for $350 these days from Tuff Carparts!

Can't beat DEKA's for anything between stock & high 400's imo :bangcomputer:

300 posted and they are basically new. Save a quick 50 + postage! I think its fair priced. Anyway. Point of the thread is, go deka 60's.

My car was running 350rwkw with the 42lbs Bosch greentops... Admittedly they were at their max but they can do it...

Why change? Car will need a full retune as spray patterns are different etc...

Oh and for $350, go new!!! At least you can ensure they are flow matched etc...

Thanks for the replies, I think I might just end up going the 60's and for needing a tune id be doing it when I get it tuned cause ill be getting a full exhaust, valve springs and what not at the same time and yeah it wont be for a little bit yet I'm just organising what ill need when that time comes so I can get all the bits and save for the tune.

Thanks again for the replies, cheers.
