Gday all,

I have in my possesion a BA MKii complete engine, including turbo, intake and exhaust manifolds and wiring loom. The engine is currently being fully reconditioned. I plan to offer it for sale and was wondering if anyone could give me a price guide of what I should be asking. Ive tried searching ebay etc and cant see any complete motors for sale. Ive got a rough idea as I bought a new engine myself about 6 months ago however it is a Typhoon engine with billet rods and forged pistons so not exactly comparable. It is being reconditioned by a well known Sydney reconditioner which will inc;ude a 12 month warranty. Also if anyone is interested in buying it, feel free to make an offer Engine is located in Kogarah.

Stock it's probably not worth what you paid to get it reconditioned!!!

stock with good turbo, $3500. its obviously worth alot more but when guys are looking at spending 4-5000 on a reco stocker they will just throw in the extra for an atomic bottom end. sure its not complete but most of there ancilleries will be ok.if its not too late get a set of rods fitted. youll then get a quick sale at a good price.

ebay had reco'ed ones with no turbo for 2600. so id say ~3500-4000 is about where your at.

...even though I got my f6 07 motor for 4500$ (but 18,000km).
