Just cleaned my BMC air filter after six months in the dusty pilbara.

When washing the filter a lot of dirt came out, but when I gave the engine intake tube a wipe on the inside with a white tissue to see if any dust was getting past the filter it was spotless.

Very happy with this filter as it gives the motor a bit of a boost in the top end as well as keeping the dust out of the motor.

The tissue in the photo is the one I used its spotless.

Are these the filters that were mentioned to provide a couple more Kdubbya's?? I want to get one, I'll have to shop around to find where bouts, cause it's pretty dusty up here in Townsville of late. Mind you, a nice drive accross to Maggy Island in the T will be on the cards, perhaps with the other FNPFC members.
