April 9, 201016 yr #11 Might wanna go for a bigger core then a HDi if you want your 400 -420 to be consistent. The cooler may get there, but only for two or three pulls before it heat soaks.found this on the site HDi Product Release will it fit ba /bf?
April 10, 201016 yr #12 and 600 at the engine or wheels?600 at the engine id say, get a nizpro, plazmaman or processwest cooler or check out rapidsystems website
April 10, 201016 yr #13 found this on the site HDi Product Release will it fit ba /bf?Not without a bit of custom fabrication .... brackets, hot and cold side piping. FG has a different front end to BA/F so the hot and cold side piping that comes with the kit won't work.
April 17, 201016 yr #14 Author does anyone know if plazmaman sells just the intercooler itself with no piping?
April 17, 201016 yr #15 Shoot them a PM mate, but how do you expect to fit it without the piping to suit?
April 21, 201016 yr #16 I have a hdi cooler on my BF, im only running 8psi for 270 rwkw at the momentbut I did some temperature testing last week, these are cold side tepms on the cooler using a heat probeambient air temp - 26.4 degafter 1st run - 30.6 degafter 2nd run - 32.2 degafter 3rd run - 33.3 degthat was a full throttle run from standing start to top of third gear, just shy of a quarter mile testI waited till the temp peaked in the cooler before I did the next run
April 22, 201016 yr #17 Author *bensxr6t* my cousin has a performance shop and makes all his own intercooler and exhaust piping.ok so now I have been convinced to sell my HDi intercooler kit and get something BIG!!! if anyones interested in it shoot me a pm, its a complete kit with an APS crossover pipe and a bigger under battery pipe.
May 16, 201016 yr #18 If your going to run 420kw, then dont waste money on a HDI.. Go for a Plasmaman 1000hp kit or Rapids V4.5
