I always thought that 16's fit over BA standard brakes, and maybe perfomance brakes, but not brembos.

But the BFs need 17's to fit over the rear brakes.

This may be wrong, but that's what I've always thought.

With the rim that says EL, the EL rims had the larger circles cut out rather than the pinholes in the BAs didnt they? But I dont think ELs had 16" rims, unless they're aftermarket. But the EL do have a different offset which could well have been the problem.

I had this problem with my old n/a ute.. had the 22's on it an reset leafs with 60mm lowering blocks, but the brakes wernt the problem it was the bottom of the shock wouldnt let the stocky all the way on becoz of the lowering blocks..... wasnt fun

Does anyone have a single rim they are willing to sell that is a 17" or bigger. I can only find sets of 2 or 4. Still driving around with no spare.

Good thing I found this. I tried to put 16" stockies on my bf ute on friday night and they wouldn't go over front or rears. I even tried a spare 16" alloy from an AU xr6 and no good. My spare is a 17" stockie which was suprising to find but now I understand why.
