Tow Bar Wiring Fg Ute

I have the factory tow bar fitted with the wiring plugged into the original loom. Does anyone know if the original loom contains a heavy wire to use for an under dash brake controller? I though Ford may have been smart enough to include this, or do I need to run a new seperate wire from under the dash to the back?

Ideas greatly appreciated.

I am not sure but am interested in what you do.

I have been looking at the Tekonsha P3 Brake controller that has an optional FORD(USA) wiring harness that allows the unit to plug directly into the factory loom on F150's etc.

I am not sure if this can be done on our FG's but I believe this would be the way to go.

The Tekonsha P3 Brake controller is what I have bought. Just don't want to attempt fitting untill I have a bit more info. Surely somebody on here has done this?
