With the family on the increase, have been weighing up what to get to increase the boot space. eg Honda Odessy, Territory, Nissan Patrol. They all have their on really good features but not the power of a XR6T.

Yes I know a Territory is a large XR6T but I'm not real keen on their rust issues. My question is does any one know why Ford did not make an XR6 turbo wagon? And why has the wagon range been dropped anyway?

mate I also have a mazda cx7 supprising performace from the 175 kw 2.3 turbo, no problems at all and mazda build quality excellent

I asked a Ford sales rep the same question he told me it's simply because everyone is buying Territory's instead so it's looking like they will eventually phase out the Ford wagon. Interesting move considering Holden's new wagon is getting some attention, I am certainly seeing quite a few around especialy the "SS" variety

I was told the wagon was built on the ute chassis.

Problems or costs with re jigging it to IRS.

Buy a Legnum TT wagon.

Look good and in the manual they are reliable.

Have good tuning potential if you get the urge also.

Not to mention they are way cheaper than the others mentioned

and still have that AWD safety for "The Family"

Not to mention they look decent also.

If your not familiar with them they are a 2.5 liter V6 Twin Turbo making 206KW from the Factory

and can be had for under $10K
