The previous owner of the car changed out the clutch to a brass-button (which makes backlash from the diff bad but yeah, at least no slip lol), but yes, it seems to release at the very top of the clutch pedals movement. This makes it rather a pain in the arse to use and I was just hoping there was a way to adjust it so it fully releases as a get my foot barely off the ground...Just out of curiosity, has anyone else had a brass button clutch put in their XR6T? Because I drove a friends car, exact same model as mine, and his stock clutch results in a bit of the dreaded backlash from the diff, but nothing compared to mine. Especially when I am sitting on a hill and it takes a bit more torque to get moving, I get some radical clunking backlash from the diff. The mechanic told me that I feel it worse cause its a manual, and the brass button clutch makes it worse again... but I dont know if he was just talkin sh*t... anyone else heard of this?Cheers for the help :D Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/64512-adjusting-ba-clutchbrass-button/ Share on other sites
