I seen a guy with the headunit facia on his sunvisor and the unit placed else where, how can this be done???

any chance of posting a image for people to look at, sounds interesting.

sure it was a head unit and not a uhf radio , they come in a 2 peice set up with a little remote mount face with a small cord running to the larger unit that can be hidden under the dash

I saw it on a honda at a car show, looked mad as but I have an idea on mounting my dvd player but need to do this mod. I'll try and find pictures

The male/female connector between the 2 can be detatched with a bit of work, or take it to an electrician who should be able to wire up an extension between the two.
