How Much Boost And Timing Degrees Do You Have?

Featured Replies

Trying to see what combo's are out there. This is meant for all the people who have a new ECU and use pump fuel only.

* What car model

* What ECU

* How much boost

* How much timing

* What dyno result

Im lookin at 17-18psi with 12-13 degrees timing for 310-330rwkw. Will know tomorrow

#2

dont think anyone uses an aftermarket ECU on there t's..

#3

18psi for only 330wkws?

Is this for XR6T cars or XR6T motors in other cars... majority of us use the stock ecu, no need to change

#4

pretty sure he's talking about an xr6t Rap1d as he just got more mods for his

#5

running that much boost u should get min 340rwk or somethings wrong.and that's with standard ecu

#6

didnt you get a xcal3 with your aps kit.

18 PSI is on the high side for a stock engine period, let alone with 13 degree's as well. That boost (assuming mostly stock intake/exhaust) should see that power or more on factory timing. If you have a ZF or manual box (thus not losing much kw reading like a BTR with/without stall would) someone has serious issues mate.

sorry as im new to BAs and how they work, I was under the impression you just replace the ecu's with a management system like a wolf 3d / motech system. Im aware 80% of us use capa flash? This like a piggy pack unit that reprograms the stock ecu right?

I have no idea on the boost/timing these use apart from all the searching ive done.

The thread is for people who run more then 16psi I should say. Usually to run that im gathering you would already need exhaust, valve springs and new cooler so those in mind, then the above is what I am trying to refer to.

And no BFHOON, the car came wiht a full APS exhaust and an EXED Chip (which im still trying to work out what that is / does)

Ok, so get my car back tomorrow....excited what final figures it will get. As it is an Auto and has a histall im aware the figures will be bout 15~rwkw lower then a normal manual but no worries, on the track will show a better RT :D

Anyways, as of tomorrow what will be done:

60lb DEKA injectors

AVO Stage 2 Intercooler kit

Walbro Fuel Pump

Capa Flash x3

Some spark plugs with some sort of gapping AVO put in

12psi actuator

larger flapper

nizmo valvesprings

K&N Flatpan filter

5" Cool Air induction pipe from passanger driverlight/fog light to airbox

Full APS Stainless Steel Zorst

Rebuilt strengthened 4sp Auto + shiftkit + 2800rpm histall + transcooler

Any ideas what power I should be expecting?
