Shifter Light Gone Out

Hi all,

The light that illuminates the shift changes has gone out. It worked then it didn't off an on for a while but now nothing.

Had it back to the dealer a few times but it always decided to work when they looked at it. They also said if was a huge job to check anyway as they had to remove the centre console and the seat?

Any suggestions for me to try and do myself. What could be causing this?

loose loom plug just under the shifter maybe.

just pull the trims up to see
