Hey guys,

I have a 03 xr6 t with 106k on it. And I have a very annoying squeeky sound coming from

the wheel where you top up your power steering fluid. Is this the harmonic balancer on its way out.

When the car is cold the noise is bad but as soon as the car reaches operating temp it dissapears.

Has anyone had this prob and is it easy to replace the pulley wheel and how expensive are they to replace.

Any help would be great. cheers.

it sounds like the idler pulley to me mine makes the same noise every now and then - id give ford spare parts a call - or if you are lucky ya might be able to get it from a bearing or pulley place but I would say to get it from them you would need to take the original one in as a sample
