Hey Guys,

Newbie to the forum.

I have owned many performance cars, but finally got myself into an XR6T.

Quick run down, 04 model MK1 Auto 74kms on it envy green leather 19inch rims etc, STOCK AS A ROCK.

Now in the near future I am looking at doing a few simple thing like aftermarket FMIC, exhaust maybe a bit of boost.

If say I wanted to just do the exhaust first or the cooler first, once I have put that on do I need to re tune once I have added the mod.

As I have read a few articles on here seeing guys question tuning for mods.

For coolers and exhaust anyone reccommend any good brands for the XR6T's as I am from the jap scene, and vl turbo scene :):)

Your help is appreciated and sorry if these have been asked a million times

Firstly, welcome aboard!

Yes, we have been asked these questions a million times before, but we too asked them all when we first got here, so don't hold back :stupid:

Brand wise, hit up the sponsors forums (Rapidsystems/Process West/Plazmaman) they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Any mods will definately benefit from a retune, but something like a catback exhaust will not need it. Cooler yes.

Cheers

Dan

is there any harm in doing an aftermarket cooler on xr6t's first or better of doing an all the way through exhaust??
