what kind of quotes have you been given to do the job? it would be much much easier with a hoist but can get by with stands.

I dont know why you would only have half a dump pipe either, sounds like its been cut halfway or something silly like that!

Do you have the appropriate wiring for the wastegate solenoid and such?

Unfortunately the wastegate solenoid wiring won't be there, along with the wiring for boost sensor - that's part of the turbo engine loom. It's a bit more work to do a whole engine loom change and then some. Best solution would be to forget the solenoid and associated parts and connect the wastegate actuator onto the intake manifold near the fuel regulator Tee fitting and use an inline bleed valve to control wastegate. By standard the wastegate diaphragm spring is set to 4-5~ PSI and you can use the manual bleed valve to increase boost when safe ...if you're game.

I'd say the dump pipe is intact, I can't see anyone cutting it in half. I reckon for the exhaust you may have to get out the cold saw and welder to make up a temporary pipe and fitting. Then once your right, send it down to get something more permanent fitted.

I also need the steering shaft and engine mount heat shields

I should be able to sort you out with the heat shields. I'll let you know by Friday.

heyy, thanks anyways I already have bought a manual boost controller, so I will be using that to control boost instead of using the turbo loom, apart from that I might just run it off the dump and straight to an exhaust shop to get it connected to the rest of the exhaust.. do you also have the stock Heater Pipe Return and Heater Pipe Feed for a BA

thanks

Turbo or N/A heater pipes? I should be able to sort you out with this, but I need to know if you have a BA or BF, Manual, 4Spd or 6Spd Auto? BA and BF heater pipe off the water pump have different end flanges and support bracket. I think we have 4spd Auto Turbo and N/A heater pipes which also work for Manual as well. Not sure if they are BA or BF, I'll have to check. 6Spd is a different heater pipe altogether.
