xr6turb Member 50 Member For: 17y 3m 16d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 14/02/09 06:33 AM Share Posted 14/02/09 06:33 AM I was going to get my gauges installed today and I get a phone call telling me to go back to the shop, so I went back and the guy who was installing the gauges said the boost/vac gauge was fine but the oil pressure gauge was a problem because the sender and the wiring don't match up... now I bought these brand new so I wasn't sure if he was right or not so just wanted to confirm with someone who has this gauge (cobalt oil pressure 6153)... I mean what he said is right because you cant plug in the wire into the sender because it does not match but I thought maybe there was a way to get around it? Or autometer just packed the wrong cable. Any info would be great, cheers!
