January 24, 200917 yr #1 hey guys just wondering if their are many guys that have had any experience with lucas pads? iv tried searching but their isnt too much to be said, if my rotors cant be machined I will be replacing them with slotted rda's
January 24, 200917 yr #2 Have been using Lucas pads for years. Theyre great value for money and are far better in my experience than the bendix ultimates. Work well cold and take a lot of punishment. We have used these on track cars when we had no other option and they were much better than expected.
January 24, 200917 yr #3 +1But they are dusty. Black dust.Ultimates eat discs for brekky lunch and tea.Don't get RDA's, they warp to easily and should come with MADE REALLY REALLY CHEAP IN CHINA stamped in fluoro pink so that you know what you are getting. They are alot cheaper than DBA's for a reason. Edited January 24, 200917 yr by ENVY-T
January 25, 200917 yr #4 we used the lucas pads on the race car for years, they're HEAPS better than the bendix ultimates, the ultimates glaze on our car very quickly. If you want top end performance there are better options than the lucas pads, but they're great everyday and performance pads too
January 25, 200917 yr #5 Author thanks guys think I will go with them then, sound like a pretty decent pad then at a good price, ENVY-T sounds like you had a bad experience with these rotors? seems like guys on here really love them or hate them, whats the best price I could find some dba's for? front only
January 25, 200917 yr #6 The lucas pads now also come in a ceramic compound to suit BA/BF front pads (not sure about rears) and are still very cheap. (well under $100)These are much cleaner with very little dust and work awesome.I have fitted them on the fronts of 3 BA's and also on the from of mine with the BF upgrade.Everyone has been wrapt. They work great and minimal dust. Cant go wrong in my opinion.
