You get what you pay for mate.

If you take the cheap way out now you'll just end up paying big bucks when something lets go. For a cheap option I'd be looking at Mal Wood's option 3 or Rapid Systems can do Textralia twin plates at a good price. I went for a Xtreme clutch to begin with & when it let go at ~300rwkw it took out the bell housing & a few other bits under there. Ended up forking out for an AP twin plate which I should've done in the first place...

Definitely.

For the extra $600 you'll get a clutch that can handle the power you're chasing plus more, something you know is definitely going to have good drivability, and something that is off a site sponsor. The Excedy will more than likely be stretching it's limits above 300 so you'd be living on borrowed time IMO

I was in the same situation mate. I just said stuff it and paid $1530 for the mal wood option 3.

Atleast I know my car is ready to take on some power.

the option 3 is a mix of modded exeedy and ace performance all matched up by mal.

if you want to do it all at once the lightend flywheel and alloy csc with braided lines and clutch bleeder kit are good add ons. makes bleeding the clutch easy, you will notice the clutch oil gets dark pretty quick and needs to be changed regularly.
