Getting a cat back installed to my ute on Wednesday, sticking with cat back at this stage for warranty reasons. Could answer any more specific questions after that if you like. You should check out the forum sponsors page, depending on where you are there should be a few shops that should be able to steer you in the right direction.

As I'm just after a bit of a sportier note whilst keeping it quiet I think I'll still be running 2 mufflers, however straight through. A 3" single in mild steel all the way back is what will go on, through to 2 straight cut tips at the end. Power gains aren't what I'm after with this however common sense would have me thinking there'd be a minor gain with the better flow. Whether that is noticeable or not I'll let you know.

I got a custom stainless steel 3.5" dump pipe with seperate 2" wategate feeder pipe and 3.5" hi flow cat from exhaust innnovations in capalaba, brisbane. sounds better and comes onto boost quicker.

The f6 runs the bf turbo doesnt it?

So you could notice the power and sound once fitting the dump pipe and cat?

same turbo as the rest of the FG's I am pretty sure, different to the BF. And yes, I could notice the difference straight away as I lit the tyres up coming out of the toll booths on the gateway bridge without meaning to :spoton: and the sound was different but when it warmed up it wasnt so noticable

The F6 uses the BA/F turbo, the FG XRT's use a smaller turbo.
