July 19, 200818 yr #1 Hey everyone,Firstly, thanks for looking at this thread. (This was Saywhat's idea - so all credit to him)I'm sure lots of you have seen the WA XR6T that DCVIN is selling in the for sale section. If you haven't, here is the thread;http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=46224I'm not sure if you all realise the reason for the sale. Please take a moment to look at this site.www.hopeforbella.comDC has to sell his much loved XR6T to help fund treatments for his mother, and as we all know, selling something like the T we love is incredibly difficult...So to help his mother, he has to sell his car...Put yourselves in his position - you would love to keep your car and help your mother right? Well then, please donate to help a fellow T driver in need.My proposition is that we, the members of www.fordxr6turbo.com donate whatever we feel we can to this worthy cause. We have 8398 registered members - Everyone donating $1 would give $8398Everyone donating $2 would give $16796Everyone donating $5 would give $41990I don't expect everyone to give $100, but if you can please help DC out, it would mean the world. Even $1...Your good deed for the day could cost you as little as a dollar! If you are willing to help, please post with how much you are willing to donate. Then go to the hoepforbella website and follow the links (How to help) When you register, just use your FXR6T.com username. (They're classed as a tax deductable donation as well...)Thanks guys - Appreciated,Dan(DC/saywhat did not approach me to start this thread, so if its in breach of an fordxr6turbo guidelines, its my fault.)
July 19, 200818 yr #2 If it was my mum I had to sell my car to help her out,it wouldnt be a question ID SELL IT.my 2 cents.
July 19, 200818 yr #3 Author Thanks Purv,Now you only owe 98c... It has been up for sale for a while now, and I thought we could try to help out so he can keep it and help his mum...He is trying...Dan
July 22, 200818 yr #6 Thanks for that mate... Seems a very small donation can go a long way if we all get on board.I hope we have a lot backing this idea.
July 22, 200818 yr #7 That credit card payment page seems a bit dodgy... The security certificate is out of date & when I clicked 'continue anyway' and entered my details, it said I was unsuccessful??Any chance we could just organise some sort of collection at the WA cruise Friday night for us Westerner's & possibly in other states for everyone else?
July 22, 200818 yr #9 yea dean. I had a similar problem, ended up printing the form out and faxing it.tried but failed to do it over the internet.
