HEY........that looks like the one in my 'Bird'.

The Geelong XR Owners Club did tests on these and got 9kwrw increase. Can't say what mine did for my car as I had an exhaust fitted as well. Saw a 4kwrw increase. Will be slipping the original filter on for the next dyno test and will compare results.

Filter part # is CDA 85/150 and sells for $550.

If your going to fit it make sure it sits as far forward in the space where your old filterbox was as it will cut into your bonnet heat shielding if you don't. Helpful hint :D

When I get the dyno done with the original filter I'll know if it was worth it. If I get 9kwrw drop in power it was worth it. I have a suspicion that I lost power with the exhaust.

See pic for look under bonnet.

Guys,

We / I also tested this filter at the Melbourne Dyno day.

We did not see any increase in performance over the BMC panel filter. We seemed to see about 1rwkw increase with the BMC one.

There could be a number of reasons why my car did not improve (or get the 9rwkw as the Geeelong guys suggest) my main assumption is that I was running ULP on the day and not PULP...??

I ended up just using the BMC Panel and returned the Pod jobbie as pictured.
