teeg Member 372 Member For: 19y 11m 4d Location: SA Posted 23/01/08 10:18 PM Share Posted 23/01/08 10:18 PM There is still another 2 months or so statutory warranty, but I doubt they would find anything given the intermittent nature of the issue.I noticed there was a brand new air filter etc. but I haven't checked the fuel filter yet.I'm in the process of replacing the gearbox, dif and engine oil/filter so I'll probably replace that while I'm thereTake it to ford and have them plug in their diagnostics machine and even though the fault is intermitent, it should have recorded an error code. They should then be able to tell you what the deal is and then take it back to the dealer whom you brought it off and tell them to fix it.
