Hey lads I need some help before I go ahead with my 6 speed conversion, now the t56 I bought was originally out of a ute and my car is a sedan are the tailshafts the same lenght ?

they are the same. the gearbox in my car is out of a ute. you will need the xr8 tailshaft yolk, but the tailshaft does not need changing or touching.

hope that helps. the part number for the yolk will be in my thread titled "6 speed fitting costs".
