The car felt like it was stuck in top gear and it felt like the clutch was slipping. The D on the dash was flashing. I pulled over, turned the car completely off, restarted the engine and drove away. No more problems. Is this the start of another bigger problem?

Mine was caused by a bad reading from the oxygen sensor. Dealer cleared the fault and that was it. Wouldn't worry unless it keeps happening and probably doesn't mean there is a trans problem.

Could it be something major?
