I for one didnt know this & I was wondering if anyone out there could shed any light on it. Many thanks.

Do you think its, worthwhile as a retro fit or should I just go for the metalcat?

So even if you upgrade the dump, you should still get a better flowing cat. Also, the BF has 2 O2 sensors - one before and one after the cat. Not sure if this will effect a retrofit or not (I guess you just weld over the second hole?).Dan Edited 30/04/07 10:26 AM by gu4800

In my case that would be Mk1 BA. If so might be a cheap upgrade alternative and with high flow cat Edited 01/05/07 06:51 AM by BA_XR6Turbo_Ute

The BF dump and cat (ordered as one piece) from Ford will set you back around ~1300. All together now, "Faaaaaaaaark that!".Just go ahead and get a 3.5" dump from xforce, and fit up a 3.5" MetalCal as you intended. It'll be better, cheaper, and easier.
