Was looking at upgrading to a phoon intercooler but then saw another one that isnt too much more and looks bigger (hard to tell really)

how can I tell which would be a better "investment"

This is the famous Wogcooler, lots of guys here run them and give them the thumbs up . The only downside if any is they mount a little off centre, but great value for money.

How much power difference is there?

id love to see how they look when installed. Also do they need new mounts etc?

Wog cooler install.

Uses standard holes on mk1 BA all others require drilling of 2 8mm holes.

On the car..

It's not about the power, it's about the consistency that it gives you. In saying that, mine gained 20rwwks after a retune to compensate for the bigger cooler.

F6 IC sounds easier too fit (I am quite lazy... )

Your better off with a wog cooler than an F6. The F6 cooler isn't that much bigger than the XR6 Turbo one.

The one thing you didnt consider is that the F6 cooler flows better than the stock one. Works a treat on my car, as you can see from the power output in my signature.
