has any body approached fords workshop and seen if the can remove the wrinkle coat finish from the splitter that cmay have caused this blade failure before warranty has finished.my car has only done 12,000 k's and I didnt want to go pulling it appart incase of voided warranty

I do not believe that it is this that is causing the failure.

Mine let go and I did not have this on may car.

I believe it is to do with wear in the turbo itself which in turn damages the blades.

With how fast these things rotate the slightest mark on the blades can cause a lot of damage.
