I have a 03 XR6 turbo.

Since I have bought it, a problem has occured in the steering. When I am going into a corner at any speed, the steering feels like it wants to keep pulling to the centre intermittently. It is a strange feeling. It feels like the power steering is turning on and off through the corner. I have changed the fluid which was strangely rooted ( car has done 60000ks ) and it made no difference. Can someone help me to diagnose the problem?

Could be the pressure switch. Might pay to get a readout done at a dealer to check for history codes.

Had scan done today and no error codes for that part. I have no idea what the problem is but its giving me the sh*ts, not to mention its actually dangerous.

Problem fixed. Ended up being dodgey tyres.
