The boot could be an option. You'd need to do a little bit of fiddling around with the dongle for the remote though. Perhaps use the original controller lead (9 ft long) and attach the dongle that way?

Not sure if it's possible but worth looking into..

You need your Xbox chipped and need to run a piece of homebrew software to switch it for you. It can't be done from the Microsoft dashboard.

Have you received your kit from ASL? If so can you check out my post in the Audio section, I think I'm missing something. :blink:

Highly recommend the Xbox mod :)

I have mounted my in the boot with some velco to hold in place (works very well), like others I have a autostart script to load playlists on startup so I have to do is hit the power button (which I have made a remote switch) and it starts playing within 10 secs.

Regarding the NTSC / PAL mode, leigh86 is correct you will need some homebrew software that changes the mode.

yep I got my kit today I had a look at your photo and it dose look like your missing the inverter. the power lead you use from the xbox to the inverter is just your xbox power lead.

I have got my kit set up but need to get my xbox chiped befor I can use it :w00t2:

sorry mate, not sure what soft mod is.. mine is full mod.

www.xbox-scene.com has all the info you need!

The soft mod is modding the xbox with just software there is no chip

You use a memory card to up load a program.
