Absolutely !! Highway Patrol through and through and my blood is Ford blue!

(Though at the moment I'm in the first Expensive Daewoo in the last 8 cars and I'm not happy. We now have a choice of Turbo or V8 and for the area I work in the V8 is most suited....however, if I was in metro Sydney I would go the Turbo!)

I'm not sure how you will know it's me, but if we do meet (and I hope we do) it will be my pleasure to shake your hand. I sincerely believe that you guys do the sh*tty work that needs to be done ... the work the rest of us can't/won't do ... the work that you most times just get abused for.

Bit late on this but totally agree with Plonky. We dont have to go out and find people doing things wrong most of the time, people just do it. He has the attitude that myself and 99.9% of coppers do. Being a bit nice to us might not get you off with a caution, but getting all fired up throws the caution out the window. Its called the 'attitude test'. Surprisingly a lot of people fail it.

I have worked in a traffic branch (same as highway sorta) and have heard all the excuses. Plonky is right on here. Great minds eh Plonkster !
