Is this the best walbro to get or is there a better walbro for this amount of power? The second part is the bosch pump, 044 I think. Is this an intank pump? How hard is it to install in the cradle and is it worth the extra $$$ over the walbro. Im sorry if this has been discussed before but im just after some definate clarification.Cheers

Depending on where you put it, it can be a little painful. Mine is actually up near the engine on the same side as the fuel line and once I had all of the gear, it wasn't too hard at all.The Walbro is a simple replacement - you just have to pull out the factory swirl pot and replace the factory pump - a little fiddly but not too hard.

It was actually quite a simple job - the factory even put a hole right where I needed to bolt on the pump mount to the car - nice of them! The surge tank I am getting made is going to fit up the front near the frame rail behind the wheel arch. It will be a funny shape but still work.
