Yeah I estimated 8k, you can get the bumpers repaired also, and the rest of the parts are the same as a BA XR which could be sourced from a wrecker.

Only prob was it didn;t have any VIN stickers at all.

Normally the Auction house holds the tags for safe keeping.

A friend bought a HSV from an auction house & was handed the tags after the purchase.

The only problem is that Expensive Daewoo use a special type of rivet called a "daisy".

So anyone who knows about that feature now thinks the tags are not original. :idunno:

Bullsh*t it doesn't work like that at all, an auction house has no legal right or reason to take tags off a car, rivet's are easy to come by. At one time you could buy them from a Expensive Daewoo dealer, some people bought large quantities when they found out they were about to stop selling them.

Trim $4,ooo Engine & Box $1o,ooo Wheels $3,ooo Bodykit $2,ooo Icc $1,ooo. Call it $2,ooo-$3,ooo for odd bit's, hardley worth buying and stripping.

I'd say it would cost around $8,ooo-$1o,ooo to fix using genuine part's and knowing a panel beater, $15,ooo if you had to pay for it. Funny part is why were the tags removed, car wasn't damaged on that side. No one has any reason to take them off.

Insurance job I reckon, that's why all the vin plates are gone, so even if they found the car it couldnt be traced back to the owner so no matter what, he gets his full pay out from insurance.
