Hi there all. I am about to install an lc6 and was wondering if anyone has already done this?? What I really need to know is, the best place to splice the front speaker wires. Is there a plug near the icc ??? Is the anywhere this can be done in the kick panels?? I have removed the drivers side kick panel an was hoping it could be done through there as removing all this trim is Any advise is appreciated.

Mate I got an Falcon RTV and strugled to find any one that knew what to do... so went for it and figured it out.

Take out all of the front passenger panelling till you can get be hind the kick panel.

2 of the wires (Probably Orange) go to the left Door another 4 were spare on my ute so I used them for a set of 6x9's the same.

They are the thin wires in the orang socket Pink and Blue from memory for the back left an right chanel.

Buckle...

The best place to access the front speaker wires is definitely the front kick panel. Forget the back of the ICC.

The colour codes for the wires in a BA are as follows:

Right Hand Kick Panel

Front Right - Grey/Black + Grey/Orange

Front Left Kick Panel

Front Left - Orange/Black + Orange

Rear Left - Pink/Black + Pink

Rear Right - Blue/Black + Blue/Red

Double check the color code in your car by removing the speakers and checking.

When you open the kick panel, you will see a birds nest of cabling running parallel with each other - except the speaker pairs, they will be twisted together making them easier to identify.

Its a fiddly job.

Good Luck
