Phoon Air Intake

Hi guys

I got a new Phoon air intake (the one that goes under the headlight) and K&N air filter. Before I put it on is there anything I need to know first.

I didnt read that cause im lazy but yeh, you prob wont be able to get the bottom bolt back in the airbox.

and there was also blood shed when trying to get the the top part of the box back on due to the thicker BMC filter I have, unsure if the K&N is as thick. Lots of swearing to.

It is on. Was driving around in it last night. It sounds so great. My friends loved it.

The only bad thing is. I should of done it sooner.

Yeah true

But there is the money issue. I am still paying off my car and finding the time to do it all as well. But I will get there even if it takes months to do.

A mate of mine helped me amke a cold air intake for mine, same as he used on his. and it worked a treat awesome, and cost about $85 or something along those lines....

I bought a Xr8 snorkle and I think it was 100mm plumbing pipe, ripped out the air box hacked out a hole shoved the plumbing pipe in there and I think for memory had to cut some of the snorkle off the end, squash the plumbing pipe into the end of the snorkle and jam it under the headlight..

bobs your uncle, cold air intake just like the phoon!

im paying mine of to, doesnt mean you cant skip extra payements for a month or 2 and do some mods to it im evil aint I
