quick question, judging by the bonnet vent one would think its a top mount cooler.... but wouldnt the front of the terry have oodles more room for a big front mount, or are they a front mount still just bonnet vent is for heat dissipation??

They had cooling and packaging issues and moved it to the top, it made more power because of the shorter intake tract so they cast a restrictor into the inlet to keep the numbers down. Guess what the first mod will be to most owners...

They decided against a front mount to move the intercooler away from possible damage off road, and to keep it from clogging up with mud. Easier to package as well. Not that its likely they will be used off road but the potentials there.
