hey

did you have to make custom lower control arms for mounting you bilsteins on the front end?  Or did you have custom lower shock brackets made to fit?  Good luck with the race, do us proud!

We are not allowed to modify the lower control arms. The shockaborbers are

effectively grafted onto a standard strut with a coil over kit. We replace the top shock absorber mounts.

What a fantastic thread. I've always wanted to get info on the XR6T prod cars, and there it is.

Here are a few pics I've taken last year of your car.

Nick had a very creditable 3rd in the first race and was obviously running very strong. I'm not sure what happened in the second race but Nick will be along to tell us I guess. Maybe he was shunted off or had a mechanical problem but anyhow slipped back to 11th. And a 12th in the last race.

Overall he finished in 8th place and there are still 7 rounds to go so I'm sure he'll come back up in the placings as he did last year.

Sorry for taking a while to get back to people with a race report.

All the action will be on SBS SPEEDWEEK THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON !!!!

To summarise:

Qualify 3rd;

Race 1 finish 3rd;

Race 2 spin (driver error) finish 11th

Race 3 clutch failure finish 12th

We next race at Symonds Plains in Tasmania - April 8/9
