What do you think of these stripes:

There was a white GT with Blue stripes like your pic (without shaker) parked at Jefferson Ford in Sth Melb about a year ago and I thought it looked pretty cool.

Needless to say, they removed the stripes about a coule of months later as they could not sell it.... go figure....

Youd hope the paint colour didnt change at all - then you would have slightly darker stripes than the car colour.

I think stripes in general look silly on a family car. In fact most modern cars dont really suit them. (unless a proper race car with sponsors stickers etc as well).

Was it XA Falcons Coupes they put big blue stripes over - and called them Cobras (about as Cobra as a Hyundai really) so that they could sell the run out model?

I think it was the XC Falcon from memory, a mate of mine has one which he recently restored, stands out like dog balls when he drives it along Footscray Rd as a daily driver too....

If that is the car at a Christchurch car yard, I had the option of buying it but thought it was a bit much so bought another GT instead.

Was at the shell harbour shops on the weekend and there was a winter white XR with red stripes in the car park it looked  , keep the trannys in Oxford street.

So, is my Cobra replica a Tranny? It is painted in GT40 colours :
