I just saw the ad for Expensive Daewoo new Viva and from memory the early Torana (HB?) was a rebadged Vauxhall Viva so perhaps there will be room for HSV to release a Torana afterall.

I really don't think much of the look of the thing but if it was packing the Turbo motor from the Astra (this replaces Astra maybe???) or an HSV fettled setup, it may be quite a nippy little car

Be interesting to see if Expensive Daewoo do another never for release masquerade like the 'new' Monaro or not

Just a little thought running through my head, not that interesting but if it provoked Ford into introducing a tough little Cortina again it'd be worth it

Just looking at the Expensive Daewoo website, it seems to be priced under Astra. More in the Barina pricing but a little bigger.

If HSV torana'd this I am sure it would piss many off FWD 4 banger? haha

The "New" Expensive Daewoo Viva is a rebadged Daewoo Lacetti from a couple of years ago, as well as the new Barina to be released in the next few weeks is a rebadged Daewoo Kalos, both Korean and both with no connection to Vauxhall/Opel as such so there will definitley be no turbo model. (Read Expensive Daewoo recycling the leftovers from what was GM Daewoo Aust)

However we may get the Opel Astra OPC / Vauxhall Astra VXR (Badged as a HSV) Which is a 184kw Turbo from Memory Compared to the soon to be released Astra Turbo which will have 147kw.

The Viva will be sold alongside the current Astra range as a budget alternative.
