Trough Lolly,

how did you fit the cat? From memory yours was the flange type, did you get the dump pipe cut and flanges welded in? If so at what cost & have you had it on the dyno since?

Cheers,

Steve.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I had the new 3.5' cat welded to the end of the dump pipe then a "Y" piece (3.5' input into twin 2.5') after the cat then the twins onto the end of the Y adapter.

yet to run my car on a dyno but in all honesty I CAN feel the difference, slightly more responsive and hits boost harder. :sofa:

see above link for more info on what I had done.

cost me $100 fitting.

the whole lot cost me $900,

-3.5in cat was $350,

-3.5in dump was $350.

-fitting and middle muffler removed $200

not to bad if you ask me!

I did get 3 bolt flanges welded on before and after the cat.

My car does go heaps harder but just bounces of the boost limiter (sounds like a semi automatic riffle), then goes into limp mode for a bit. (obviosly I haven't had it tuned yet or have the edit)

It will go back up on the hoist to get another muffler put in it so I'll post pics after that. I cant stand the noise cause I have a ski bout that I have to tow.
