just wondering this, because I found a full gtp exaust system on ebay, and no one bought them, ive rang the guy up and he has said he will sell them to us...

now 1 thing is that it should give a more meaty v8 sound (a little) and that's one thing dad has been wanting, but would there be a power increase?

XR8 and GT exhausts are the same, XR6T is the same from cats back bar the exhaust tip which doesn't have the centre divider that the V8's do.

My XR6T MkII had a centre divider in the exhaust tip, easy to spot once it was removed for the APS exhaust.

The V8 models have a centre divider that goes on the outside edge of the tip, the XR6T has a centre divider for the pipes but doesn't go to the outside edge. Go to a Ford dealership and have a look at an XR6T and an XR8 or GT, they are different tips.

Something like these.

[__] XR6T-No centre divider [_I_] XR8/GT-Has centre divider
