On about 3 occasions when I have been giving my T a bit of stick I get this load bang and a great shove from the rear of the car. Any idea what it could be? Is this the overboost problem everyone talks about?

I range Ford they said dunno bring it in so it goes in tomorrow.

Appreciate any help or ideas

Probably the standard drive line lash many of us get.

"Nothing we can do - its within Ford specifications"...

I hear that if the rear end of your car completely falls off, they might consier replacing the part of the diff that broke...

Got the car back yesterday from Ford and they reflashed the ECU.

Can't yet duplicate the problem but it only ever happened 3 times. program upgrade did not seem to do a thing ot power in fact it may be slightly better ( gut feeling)
