Leaking Power Steering Fluid

Hi all,

The T is leaking power steering fluid, ive had it back to ford twice now and still no love!! Replaced the lines as per TSB for shuddering, as well.

Anyone had this prob??

Maybe I can give the useless Ford service department a hand!!

Does it leak to the plastic spillage bit around the cap?

that's where mine does it, and Ford reckon it's normal...

It Leaks onto the ground!!!

This pisses me off coz break fluid isnt good stuff to have dripping around under the car!

Havent had any leaks as yet (20000km), is the resevoir overfull?

ohhh yer the leak looks to be coming from the rack or a line.

Well to let all know incase they encounter the same problem.

It was dropping breakfluid the size of a 10 cent piece once I parked.

The lines were tightened (1st time)

Lines replaced as per TSB for low speed shudder (2nd time)

The rack had to be changed (3rd time in)

The bloke said he couldnt explain why it was leaking. so they replaced it.
