Looks like they won't be much of a factor at that rate......if they don't get their sh#t together soon, they may not even make the top 10 shootout!! Ha!!

JoeG Member 92 Member For: 22y 5m 19d Gender: Male Location: Adelaide Posted 03/12/04 05:09 AM Posted 03/12/04 05:09 AM just found this write-up on Sportal.com.au:PWR's Jason Bright has blitzed home in the final minutes of Friday's second practice session at Eastern Creek to temporarily dethrone the likely champion, relegating SBR's Marcos Ambrose into second spot.Bright made his move with two minutes left, clocking a lap in one minute 33.18 seconds, taking advantage of a dry circuit surface coupled with cool ambient air and track temperatures.Ambrose, who seems eager to stitch up the championship sooner rather than later, was competitive near the head of the field in 1:33.24, ahead of the Holden 'boss' Mark Skaife who posted a lap in 1:33.31.Skaife's HRT teammate Todd Kelly was right on the five-time champion's tail at the conclusion of the 35-minute session, while Shell Helix's Warren Luff managed to retain a spot among the leaders with the fifth-quickest time of 1.33.43.WPS pilot David Besnard looks set to make good on his promise of a strong performance in the final round of the 2004 season, a lap in 1.33.44 handing him the sixth-quickest time.Ford Performance Racing star Craig Lowndes was also among the drivers who managed to dial in their machines on the fast and flowing Eastern Creek circuit, placing seventh ahead of Steven Johnson in the Shell Helix Falcon, while Castrol Perkins Motorsport's Steve Richards and Paul Morriss rounded out the top ten.

Bright definitely beat Ambrose in the 2nd session as Ambrose only did a 1:33.2436 I think the V8supercar website has a glitch for the 2nd practice for Ambrose as they are not the same as the natsoft times all others look right though Edited 03/12/04 05:52 AM by Jaymz

Coverage from 4 gives them time to summarise the practice sessions.
