Hey all,

Some of you may or may not have heard of Gmail.

Basically it's Google's solution to web-based email.

Currently it's in the Beta stage of development, but it won't be too long until it's released fully to the public.

"Why do I care?" I hear you say.

Gmail has 1GB of storage space. Not the piddly 2MB like Hotmail, but 1GB!

Although there is a restriction of 10MB per message (sending and receiving).... still that's 5 times the total size of your Hotmail inbox :D

The only way that you can get into Beta at the moment is to be invited by someone else who already has an account.

Once you have an account you will eventually get to invite 6 other people. You may not get the ability to invite anywhere from 1 min to 1 day. If you've used up all your invites, don't fret! You will eventually get more.

Why am I telling you this?

I have an account and I have 3 invites left. I will eventually have more, but I guess I have to be patient.
