O-RING AGAIN!

Featured Replies

Took my car to get serviced yesterday by Spiro and mentioned that I was losing about 2 Litres of water from the radiator every 3 days. As I had just replaced the O-ring at the thermo housing and couldn't see any water stains in the area, I must have cracked a hose, but after a pressure test was done they found the leak at the O-RING!!!!! :spoton:

How many times do I have to go back before this problem is fixed. I have do now drive 40 mins to get to my dealer and get it replaced. I think I might even tell him to fill the tank up for making me come back. :huh:

Is there any permanent fix for this problem or do I have to waste my time going back to the dealer every 2 weeks. :k24t:

:k24t::huh:

If its the o-ring above the alternator it's an easy 2 min fix at the dealer.

If it's under the turbo at the water pump its a 4 odd hour job...

I had the problem where I lost all of my coolant over night cause of the waterpump o-ring..

Took me a while to get the car booked into a dealer to do it..
