Im glad I found this topic.

Mine is doing the exactly same thing.

Mainly when I turn left at low speeds.

Had the power steering hose replaced, dealer reckons wait a week or two should be gone.

Stil here, so now im going to get the rack fixed.

Ford were supposed to fix under warranty but they didn;t do it

Air in the power steering system is causing the noise and vibration. Try to take the power steering fluid cap off. If air locked inside take it to your mechanic because the air inside the power steering can cause damage in the pump.

yup, take the cap off, full lock one way, full lock the other way, repeat.

replace cap, quick drive to check results, if no difference, rinse and repeat.

when you say rinse and repeat, you meant drain the fluid then replace????

I'll give it ago on the weekend.

Cheers for the advice

Haha, no. My apologies for the vague reference. I meant it more as a shampoo instruction ie: do it again.
