  1. So I replaced the fuel pump with a walbro 400 and larger swirl pot unit and got a fuel pressure reg from Ford. Installing the fuel pump was hassle free, when I got to changing the fuel pressure reg I noticed that the genuine unit had 4.0 bar stamped into the side of it. Just thought I would let you guys know as I thought I read somewhere on here that standard unit where lower than that.
  2. Hey fellow forum member, I have a stock BF MKII XR6T which is the wife daily driver, and took it for a drive the another day and found that under heavy acceleration at around 3000rpm vehicle surged badly so I backed off. Took it to mechanic today an he has told me that fuel pressure was all over the place and recommend changing fuel pump and fuel regulator. I will be replacing the fuel pump with a Walbro GSS340 as I plan to do future upgrades (exhaust,FMIC and tune) but I can't seem to find an alternative fuel pressure regulator, will the standard fuel pressure regulator handle 12psi or is there an alternative fuel pressure I can install? Thanks for any responses.
