hey all who can help! I have a ba xr6turbo that iv been fixing up that I bought off a mate of mine It was running extreamly ruff on idle and bearly ran when I got it and had been doing this for some time with my mate who would nto fix it and left it in his garrage! I replaced the inlet manifold gasket which was causing it to run ruff at idle and replaced a injector washers and it ran like new at idle upto 3000rpm, where once at 3k revs it would surge and carry on with no power. Suspected it was coils and plugs and sure enough it was finaly put them in and revs and runs perfect now. The problem I am having now is under normal driving the car is fine but if I want to get up it abit over half throttle it will hit 80k's-100k's power flattens and surges and carries on and goes back to running ruff and bearly goes over 1000rmp. After I pull over and turn it off and on it sweet and good to go again which I am thinking it is computer related thing. at the same thing at 80 to 100 once it has gone to runnign ruff again if I give it to it again at half throttle it will sort it self back out and run smooth again. im getting confused with what is going on and would liek to see if any one has any experience with this and can put me in the right direction to what to fix to save those hard earned dollars! thanks for any help in advance

nah its a nice big one up front which I forgot to mention. liek I thought some one has put in some effort which personaly I wouldnt off the 300+ decal has me stumped, I never have seen that before!

hi every one new to the forum tried to do a search on this but came up with nothing so thought id do a post. What iv got is a purchased a 03 xr6t a couple of weeks at a very good price. upon viewing the car found a few abnormal things. first it was the fpv steering wheel and the fpv printing on the automatic lever which I paid no attention to as I thought that this was just cosmetic changes the owner had made after seeing the car I like it so I bought it upon working on it the last few weeks iv also found a decal embeaded into the passenger plastic kick plastic saying FORD 300+ kw. it is a standard xr6t in my eyes with the same interior typical of xr. the rottors are slotted as well and under the hood I noticed a ROSS sticker on the front of the rocker cover it has a aliminium turbo intake not sure if standard xr6t are plastic correct if wrong? just wanted to know whats going on seems abit weird I still say its a standard xr6t any help would be great did I maybe stumble across something good for a low price?
