Yes it was the Spigot Bearing, once removed, it bolted together pretty easily. thanks again to all, now to find that donation page!!

Thanks for your reply, no it's not to late yet. Spent most of day trying to bolt them together, with no luck as yet. The new engine is from a 2005 model, not sure which month, but I didn't think the engine changed at all? It's not missing by much but I am worried about breaking something pulling it together with the bolts.

Having trouble mating engine to gearbox to my 03 ute. Any ideas?? Automatic
