Does anyone know if the R1005 recall regarding the HIM module and relevant air con faults affects the FG XR6T? I rang my dealer today and they advised that the recall didn't affect my model, which is a mid-2009 XR6T.

Can I confirm if the R1005 recall was for the FG as well? Just spoke with my local dealer and they advised there was no recall for my model (mid-2009 XR6T).

Did you get the problem solved? I'm starting to get the same issue with my 2010 XR6T. Have taken it to Ford however when they tested it it was working properly. Would like advice on what the actual problem is so I can be more informed when taking it back next time.
